Keep The Faith

2nd Corinthians 1:20

No matter how many promises God has made they are yes in Christ, and so through Him the Amen is spoken by us to the Glory of God!  The spirit of discouragement and trials are the last obstacles between you and what God has promised you!  Again, keep the faith!

Let Jesus Be Your Well Of Hope

John 4:6-10

“Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour. A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.”  8 For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

Jesus recognized the need as soon as he spoke to this woman at the well. Her water bottle was insignificant, she was the empty vessel he was concerned about. Each word Jesus spoke was a cup of refreshing water, each revelation brought her closer to complete understanding. This woman who felt abandoned by judgments and loneliness had come to the well of Hope, and Jesus answer’s her in this verse, John 4:14. “But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Our hope is in Jesus! Drink Him in and let your Spirit be satisfied. Amen!

Can you be trusted in the things of God?

Can you be trusted in the things of God ?

#1   Are you faithful in prayer ?

#2   Are you loyal to friends and family ?

#3   Are you on time with God ?

#4   Are you one who gives your best ?

#5   Are you one who prays for the needs of others ?

#6   Are you one who accurately divides God’s Word ?

#7   Are you one who loves the unlovable ?

#8   Are you one who has a servants heart ?

#9  Are you one who gives out of your abundance ?

#10  Are you a doer, and not a hearer only?

Can God trust you in this life he has given you ?  The perfection of Christ begins with inner reflection, followed by confession, repentance and a desire to see Psalms 51:10 fulfilled,
“Create in me a clean heart O God; and renew a right spirit with in me.”

The Encounter

Have you had a God encounter lately? A good God encounter is what we need everyday.

Luke 5:11 “And it came to pass that as the people pressed upon him, to hear the Word of God, He, Jesus, stood by the lake of Galilee.”
Encounter means: to meet, help, ponder, union together, or to meet unexpectedly.
Those pressing Jesus had a previous encounter, and wanted more, not food or clothing, not for any selfish reason, but more Jesus. Now Jesus borrowed a boat from Simon Peter so he could minister to all on shore. Peter was experiencing his 1st encounter with Jesus, his eyes were being opened really really wide, Peter was seeing things he had never seen before.
Psalms 34:8 “Oh taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in him.”
Luke 5:1 stated, “Jesus stood” which means a pillar of strength and hope, also meaning the unseen miracle power of God.
I encourage you to read for yourselves the scriptures shared today, you see the more encounters you have, the more Revelations you will experience.
Peter began his day as a fisherman, but after his encounter with Jesus he became a fisher of men. Praise God for the Encounter of a lifetime.
Have a great day in Jesus…. Pastor Greg

Volunteering/Serving

Thanks to all who give of your time, your gifting in service to the church and to the body of Christ.  The world we live in sees the value of volunteering.  It helps our schools, our community and even our nation.  They recognize that its healthy and good for you.  But our God sees more than this in your service to His people and church.  God says in Matthew 24:44 “Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” (46) “Blessed is that servant whom his master, when He comes, will find so doing.” The world we live in is looking for a few good men.  But our God is looking for good and faithful servants, men and women who love Him enough to be busy about His business!  Thank you again for serving!

The Need

How many of us have seen the need-People, Friends, Neighbors or Family that obviously need help. How and how much should we help…and is it enough? Jesus cuts right to the chase and simply says, “What you do to the least of these, you do to Me.” I believe when we see or hear about a need, we have a responsibility to pray for God’s guidance concerning what to do…HE may be saying to us “It’s alright, I’m taking care of it”, or “Go ahead and Help.”

People have six basic human needs: Food, Water, Friendship, Clothing, Health, and Freedom. It’s time for the “Good Samaritan” within us to open his ears to the voice of God. Acts 20:35  “I have shown you in every way by laboring like this, that you must support the weak, and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Let’s meet the need! God loves a cheerful giver!
