Concerning Grace

Grace, defined as: spiritual graciousness by divine influence which is reflected in our lives.

Ephesians 4:7 “But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.”

4:11& 12 “And He himself gave some to be apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers. For the equipping of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”

Simply: Grace, Godly grace increases when, and only when, revelation of Jesus Christ increases in our lives…more God, more grace.

The Church

The Church began as a fellowship of men and women centered on the living Christ.  Then The Church moved to Greece where it became a philosophy.  Then it moved to Rome where it became an institution.  Next it moved to Europe where it became a culture.  And finally, it moved to America where it became an enterprise.

Don’t you think it’s time once again to be a fellowship centered on the living Christ?”  Praise God for that revelation!!

God Bless You Dad!

Father’s Day is a day to honor and remember the sacrifices and love of our fathers.  God is so good to us in that He created the office of a father.  In this office a man can fulfill his calling and gifting by loving his children to the best of his ability. (more…)

A Memorial Day Thank You

As a Pastor who has served in our military and also was raised in a military family, I experience both tears and strong emotions when Memorial Day comes each year.  Sadly, our nation has shifted from it’s original founding fathers’ vision to a less patriotic, less God believing, and less “strong family” foundation.
Each year whether it be Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Veteran’s Day we have the opportunity to retake lost ground in this battle of personal patriotism, as well as acknowledging the sacrifice so many of our soldiers have made.  The ultimate sacrifice was Jesus, laying down His life, shedding His blood for the forgiveness of all our sins…..the blood of our soldiers was also spent, but also not in vain.  It was willingly laid on the altar of freedom that generations to follow might build productive lives on their homeland soil rather than bleed on foreign soil.  First and foremost, thank you Jesus for Your sacrifice that we might live and not die!  Thank you God for the men and women of our military who over many years have loved our nation unto death.

Praise God! Praise God Again!

Praise God! Praise God Again!…..this is a saying I learned while in Kenya last Fall.  We can never give God enough Praise, Praise God Again!  Have you had enough of the rain that has been continually coming our way?  Doesn’t it seem as if we have had more than our share?  We want the heat, the sun, the comfort of a new season.  Spiritually, our God knows what we need, I know in Whom I believe, and trust that for you and I He has some new God given blessings headed our way!  I’m ready for the season of blessings, not just the sun to pop out but the SON to appear!  Let’s believe for the appearance of God’s blessings on His church…can we Praise God for that?  And Praise God Again by faith?  PRAY for the move of God in His church, not just our church but all churches that Love, Believe, and Serve Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!  Amen, Pastor Greg
