Can you be trusted in the things of God?

Rev. Greg Pedersen
Can you be trusted in the things of God ?
#1   Are you faithful in prayer ?
#2   Are you loyal to friends and family ?

#3   Are you on time with God ?

#4   Are you one who gives your best ?

#5   Are you one who prays for the needs of others ?

#6   Are you one who accurately divides God’s Word ?

#7   Are you one who loves the unlovable ?

#8   Are you one who has a servants heart ?

#9  Are you one who gives out of your abundance ?

#10  Are you a doer, and not a hearer only?
Can God trust you in this life he has given you ?  The perfection of Christ begins with inner reflection, followed by confession, repentance and a desire to see Psalms 51:10 fulfilled,
“Create in me a clean heart O God; and renew a right spirit with in me.”

Psalms 51:10 is such an eye opening verse. It is shows the depth of hunger for closeness and connection to God. How awesome that our hearts can be cleansed which allows our blinded eyes to see more clearly. This cleansing creates in us a desire to follow Christ’s example and become his servants. The list in this blog is a good template to check ones own heart and see if we are walking as a servant or a master. A master is motivated to direct others to do his bidding and fulfill his vision. A servant is humble and helps his master see his vision become a reality.
